Celebrating Adult Learners: A Glimpse into Our Writing Competition
At Macquarie Community College, we see education as a lifelong journey, and, therefore, Adult Learners Week is the perfect opportunity to celebrate it.
This time around, we hosted an inspiring Writing Competition, inviting learners to reflect on their growth through adult education.
As a result, the response was overwhelming, with learners from all walks of life sharing unique stories and insights. The competition showcases not only their writing skills but also their incredible journeys of transformation and growth.
After careful deliberation, our judges selected three outstanding winners, each with a story that touched our hearts.
We are proud to announce the Winners of MCC Adult Learners Week Writing Competition 2024:
- Yoga Skandakumar with her story on how community education helped her embrace technology, explore creativity, and pursue new passions.
- Jeniston Jesunesan took us on a journey of self-discovery, showing how MCC English course has been a cornerstone in his personal and professional development.
- Juliana Teon beautifully highlighted the importance of community learning, and how it helped her to find the passion for lifelong learning.
