Course Overview

Bring out your creative side with the Mosaic – All Levels course. Learn to create beautiful and unique mosaics by arranging small pieces of tiles in different patterns.

During our classes you will learn how to create a small mosaic piece, using the direct method of mosaic construction. You will learn how to cut tiles into different shapes, select colours, design a layout, lay tiles, glue, grout and clean your piece.

Once you have created your first piece, we will assist you with larger, more challenging pieces such as a house number, table tops, birdbaths etc. There are a large range of mosaic tiles, tools, adhesives and grout to choose from.

Our classes are fun and friendly, and we have experienced teachers to guide you. We cater for beginners to advanced students.

In this Mosaic – All Levels course you will learn:

At the end of the course you will have the knowledge on how to mosaic. You will have completed your own unique mosaic piece which you can display with pride.

What you need to know

Entry requirements

This level is for the complete beginner and assumes no prior experience with Mosaic.

What you need to provide

Please bring:
  • A container for your tiles
  • An apron
  • Tools if you have any. There is an opportunity to purchase tools from the teacher and this will be discussed at the first class

Other information

Materials are extra. You will need equipment such as nippers ($40), glue ($22) and mosaic tiles which would depend on the size of your project. All of this can be bought from our studio

There is plenty of parking at the venue.

How to Enrol

Step 1 - Choose Your Course

  • Select the non-accredited short course you are interested in.
  • Find a day and time that suits your schedule.

Note: Enrolment is open to anyone 18 years or older.

Step 2 - Enrol and Verify

  • Click ‘Enrol Now’ after selecting your course and schedule.
  • Enter your details on the enrolment page.
  • Verify your email through a secure link sent to your email address.
  • Complete the secure checkout and payment process.

Step 3 - Receive Your Enrolment Details

  • You will receive an immediate enrolment confirmation email upon successful enrolment. Check and read the attached Terms and Conditions.
  • The payer of the enrolment will receive a tax invoice immediately after processing.
  • You will receive a course reminder email a day before your class begins.
  • For Online Zoom classes, a Zoom link and password will be emailed the day before class. Use the same link and password for subsequent sessions if applicable.
