Celtic Art – Repeating Patterns

Course Overview

Celtic Art Repeating Patterns takes you through four (4) of the pattern styles in Celtic Art. Over four weeks we will create repeating patterns in four of the five elements of design in Celtic Art: Step Patterns, Key Patterns, Lattice Knots and Spirals.

Taking you throughan easy to follow process of building up each Celtic Art Repeating Pattern style step-by-step. You will be shown how to identify the section of pattern that is repeated and how to ‘cut down’ each pattern into different shapes and borders.

A proven formula is used as the foundation to drawing and designing Celtic Art patterns. This makes the process simple and easy to follow, eliminating many of the pitfalls when drawing Celtic Art patterns.

Macquarie Community College operates from a range of venues across Northern and Western Sydney. We have campuses in Blacktown, Carlingford, Chatswood, Epping, Mt Druitt, Richmond, and Ryde. Enrol now!
