By the end of the workshop, you’ll have gained practical skills and flower arrangement techniques suitable for beginners or those looking to refine their expertise. Whether you’re decorating your home or planning an event, this workshop will equip you with the knowledge to create impressive floral designs.

What you will learn

Course outline

In this course, you will learn:

  • Ideas for what flowers to put in your home
  • What flowers are best to use for entertaining
  • What flowers are best to use for frontal arrangements in modern containers
  • Tips and Techniques such as how to cut the flowers and flower care

Course outcome

By the end of the course you will know:

  • How to care for your fresh flowers
  • How to arrange flowers in a different containers
  • Develop a good understanding of elements of colour and design
  • Elements to combine creativity with floristry technical skills

What you need to know

Entry requirements

This course is suitable for all levels. Complete beginners are welcome as well as those students who have already completed the Flower Arrangement Fundamentals course or higher levels.

What you need to provide

Please bring:

  • Floral scissors
  • Rose stripper
  • Pen and notepad

Please note: The teacher has florist scissors ($6) and rose strippers ($4) if you want to purchase them.

You will be provided with:

  • Fresh flowers (details confirmed each week)
  • First lesson's flowers are included in enrolment fee. The second lesson flowers are at an additional cost of $45 (cash paid to trainer)

How to Enrol

Step 1 - Choose Your Course

  • Select the non-accredited short course you are interested in.
  • Find a day and time that suits your schedule.

Note: Enrolment is open to anyone 18 years or older.

Step 2 - Enrol and Verify

  • Click ‘Enrol Now’ after selecting your course and schedule.
  • Enter your details on the enrolment page.
  • Verify your email through a secure link sent to your email address.
  • Complete the secure checkout and payment process.

Step 3 - Receive Your Enrolment Details

  • You will receive an immediate enrolment confirmation email upon successful enrolment. Check and read the attached Terms and Conditions.

  • You will receive a course reminder email a day before your class begins.
  • For Online Zoom classes, a Zoom link and password will be emailed the day before class. Use the same link and password for subsequent sessions if applicable.
