What you will learn
Course outline
This course will involve a combination of teacher demonstrations and student practical work. Students will be guided step by step by tutor though individual projects.

- Washes, wet on wet, wet on dry, masking
- Colour mixing and mingling

Course outcome
- By the end of the course it is intended that students will be able to create watercolour paintings using traditional and more modern techniques with a knowledge of colour, tone and perspective.
What you need to know
Entry requirements
No prior knowledge necessary. This course is applicable for beginners to intermediate.
What you need to provide
- Bring a notebook and pen and any materials you may already have
- First lesson – paint, paper and brushes will be provided if you don't have your own.
- Information on what to buy and demonstration of types of paints given at the first class
