Course Overview
Are you thinking about writing a novel but need help and guidance? Or have you finished writing and now don’t know what to do with your story? In this comprehensive course, we will define and discuss popular novel genres, where your novel stands in the market, plus how to write according to genre expectations. We will also tackle the nuts and bolts of actual writing – story, structure, plot, characters, setting, dialogue – that includes writing exercises and plenty of class interaction.
