Welcome to Italian – Beginners a course specially tailored for students who have completed our Introduction to Italian course or possess basic vocabulary and familiarity with the language from previous studies, family exposure, or travel experiences.
If you are looking to refine your speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, this is the perfect progression for you. The content covered will allow you to expand your vocabulary to encompass diverse topics, including colors, food, numbers, and more.
By the end of this course you will have acquired the ability to engage in basic conversations, introduce family and friends, describe people, discuss time, peruse food menus, and make purchases of fruit and vegetables. It will also mark a significant step forward in your Italian language proficiency, empowering you to navigate a broader range of everyday scenarios with confidence.

- Grammar: definite articles in the plural, partitives (some), regular and common irregular verbs

- Give basic instructions and directions and build general comprehension and communication skills

Students need to have completed an introductory course, one term or a minimum of 16 hours tuition or have equivalent knowledge.
