Course outcome
By the end of the course you will be able to play chordal accompaniment and melodies to several entire songs. You will have the knowledge to apply these skills to a variety of musical settings. Students have the opportunity to practice the application of new skills on a piece of music of their own choosing. This will be presented to the group in the final week.

Entry requirements
Students need to be familiar with the essential fundamentals of guitar playing and have completed a minimum of 12 months' tuition.
What you need to provide
- Students will need their own acoustic guitar for this class.
Other information
- This is a group class. Material is presented using a combination of written and played musical examples. You will play individually and in small groups. Feedback will be provided individually and to the group as a whole.
- Tea, coffee, biscuits supplied for face-to-face classes
