Course Overview
There’s emerging evidence that learning to play a musical instrument is good for your physical health: it improves posture, hand-eye coordination, etc. It’s also good for your mental health: practising a little each day and thinking through how to play sequences of notes is great mind work. It can also give a sense of accomplishment, as you learn to play your first tunes.
When you learn a few simple major and minor chords, they become the keys that open doors for you into a wonderful world of music. The Ukulele has a delightful tone and is very small, easily transportable size making it an attractive option for all ages.
Whether you want to grace the stage one day or simply like to strum along at home, these ukulele lessons break down the basics of playing into simple, step-by-step instructions so that anyone can follow.
Macquarie Community College operates from a range of venues across Northern and Western Sydney. We have campuses in Blacktown, Carlingford, Chatswood, Epping, Mt Druitt, Richmond, and Ryde. Enrol now!
